With Automation Edit History, you can confidently test and fine-tune your automations, knowing you can track every change and revert to any earlier version as needed. This powerful feature provides a comprehensive view of your automationβs evolution, empowering you to experiment without risk and maintain full control over your workflows.
How To Use Automation Edit History
First, navigate to the Automations Library. Then open the automation you want to work on.
At the top of the automation, you will see a clock icon. Click on this icon to open your full Edit History.

Access the Automations Library
Begin by navigating to the Automations Library and selecting the automation you want to work on. -
Open Edit History
Look for the clock icon at the top of the automation page. Click this icon to open the Edit History panel. -
Explore Version Details
- At the top of the Edit History list, you'll find the Current Version.
- Below, you'll see all previous versions, including the date of each change, the team member who made the edits, and a summary of the modifications.
You can click on any version to view it. This will put you in view-only mode to prevent accidental changes.

Restore or Edit Previous Versions
If youβd like to revert to a previous version, simply select it and click the Restore button at the top of your screen. This will make the selected version the Current Version. From there, you can either use it as is or make edits to create a new version and save your changes.
