Ready to link your Gorgias account with Siena? Let's get started! Please note that only users with Admin Agent or Owner roles can perform this integration. Make sure you have the necessary permissions on your Gorgias account before proceeding.
Integration Steps
Step 1:
From the Channels dropdown, select "Gorgias". Click the "Connect Gorgias" button and then enter your Gorgias subdomain. Your Gorgias subdomain can be found in your Gorgias URL. For example, if your URL is https://digital-venus.gorgias.com, digital-venus is your subdomain.
After entering your subdomain, you'll be redirected to your Gorgias account login page. Make sure to log in with an account that has the necessary permissions.
If you don't see the login page and instead get redirected to the "Complete integration" part, don't worry โ this simply means you're already logged in. If you're automatically redirected back to Siena, it indicates that Siena has been installed previously.
Step 2:
Once youโre logged in, youโll be redirected to a prompt to authorize our app. Click the "Authorize" button to continue.
Step 3:
You'll be redirected back to Siena, which will briefly load before displaying your successful integration.
And there you have it, your Gorgias integration is complete!
Configuring your integration
Once you've successfully integrated Gorgias with Siena, it's time to customize your settings.
The first toggle you'll see is your main switch. When activated, all your tickets will start flowing into the Siena inbox.
Next, you'll find the Agent Copilot Widget toggle, followed by the Skip Mentions toggle. Turning on the Skip Mentions feature ensures Siena doesn't respond to comments where a specific user is tagged, keeping your automated responses focused and relevant.
In the Preferred email to send messages field, you can specify a customer email address from which all Siena's responses will be sent.
Further down, you'll find checkboxes for the channels you want Siena to respond to. If you're new to Siena and still building your automations, we recommend unchecking these boxes initially to prevent Siena from sending live responses to your customers. Once you're ready to go live, simply toggle them back on.
You also have the option to exclude certain email addresses from receiving Siena responses. For instance, if you don't want Siena to respond to tickets sent to your marketing team, click the "Exclude" button, enter the email address (e.g., marketing@example.com), and click "Exclude" again.
Finally, you can import your Gorgias macros into Siena by clicking the "Import" button. Please note that you can import a maximum of 100 macros, and all your macros will be automatically imported once you've integrated your Gorgias account.
