1. Accept Our Invite and Create Your Siena Account
- Account Creation: Begin by accepting the email invite from Siena and create your account:

- Helpdesk Integration: Connect your helpdesk and enable at least one channel. We recommend email.

3. Enable Essential Settings

4. Setup your Persona
- Build your AI Persona(s) and assign them per your enabled channels by following our guidelines in here AI Persona - Guideline, Best Practices & Cheatsheet or in the video below:
5. Activate Knowledge Sources
- Ensure Siena can access all necessary information to assist your customers.
- Knowledge Sources
- Add your Shopify Product Catalog
- Add additional Knowledge Bases like G- Docs, or Website Pages
NOTE: Make sure you enable the channels for Knowledge Sources from the Knowledge Sources Settings.
6. Enable the First Action-Based Automations
- Implement AI Flows for the most common customer inquiries such as:
- WISMO (Where Is My Order?)
- Cancel my order
- Request to change shipping address
It's recommended to start with your top 5-10 automations (can be a combination of action-based or non action-based). This approach allows you to focus on a manageable number of automations, making it easier to fine-tune and review them.
Starting small is a best practice in the automation world. It ensures that you can concentrate on perfecting these initial automations before adding more to your repertoire. This way, you can ensure each automation is running smoothly and efficiently before moving on to the next.
7. Test in The Playground
- After you build some automation and upload your Knowledge Sources, test in your Sandbox environment. Go conversational and challenge Siena to find areas of optimization.
8. Next Steps After Setup
Official Kick-Off with Your CSM
Once you've completed the setup, the next step is to meet with your Customer Success Manager (CSM). This kick-off session is your opportunity to:

- Discuss any initial questions
